Sarkari Yojna

Sarkari Yojana is the general name for welfare and development programmes started by the Government of India plus by state governments to raise the social, economic and financial level of citizens. Each programme targets one part of the population – farmers, women, pupils, elderly people, young job seekers or households with low income. The programmes seek growth that reaches every group but also aim to narrow the gap between rich and poor.A central task is to lift people out of poverty – pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana gives direct money help to poor households. MGNREGA offers wage work – any rural household that asks for work must receive at least one hundred days of paid labour in a year – this rule provides an even cash flow as well as raises the family’s standard of living.

In education, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan builds new schools, hires teachers and supplies free textbooks so that every child studies till the age of fourteen. The Mid Day Meal Scheme serves a cooked lunch in government or aided schools – the meal draws children to class and improves nutrition. Beti Bachao Beti Padhao mounts local campaigns to protect girl babies next to to keep girls in school. Separate scholarship and fee reimbursement plans pay tuition, board plus book costs for students whose parents have limited means.

Healthcare receives equal attention – ayushman Bharat Yojana grants five lakh rupees of health insurance per year to each poor family. The insurer pays the hospital bill – patients receive surgery or therapy that they would otherwise skip because of cost. Government vaccination drives, antenatal check up schemes and institutional delivery programmes have cut the rate of infant deaths but also maternal deaths.
